And, while we will be discussing how an athlete, given the right combination of will, attitude, desire, and perseverance may aspire to the level of one of these amazing athletes, we must take time to reflect and to celebrate, collectively, on what was and will always remain, one of the brightest spots in United States sports history. Well done ladies, well done! The memories of today offer the promise of tomorrow.
